SlaughterPen.com in BIKE Magazine

August 24, 2008 20:08 by joey

So, in this months issue of BIKE Magazine there is an article about Slaughter Pen Mountain Bike Park and it references the website I worked on at Rockfish for them. The site was built in Flash AS2 and has some really cool features. The magazine also shows a picture of one of the ramps that I tagged a while back. Congrats to Tom and Woody on this one, I'm looking forward to the Halloween Jam looks like it's going to be Awesome! So, check out the site at www.slaughterpen.com and I hear they are working on adding more ramps and 6 miles of trails in Phase 2 so stay tuned to the site and see the progress. The magazine also mentions the Progressive Trail Design Company who built Slaughter Pen (Their first gig and I must say, not too bad!) and I collaborated a bit on that site design so check it out too www.progressivetraildesign.com.

Really...?

July 31, 2008 20:37 by joey
You know I catch a lot of grief sometimes running a blog up here in the Ozarks that finds humor in Rednecks, but come on I'm a city boy and these things are funny. For example I was looking thru the classifieds in what I think is probably the most read section of the paper up here the "Livestock" section and I saw this ad; And I thought, Only in Arkansas:

So I hear a lot of people talkking about "Keep Fayetteville Funky" and I wsn't real sure what they were talking about since I'm not from here but this weekend I heard about this site called Fayetteville Flyer.com and it does a good job keeping us informed of the weirdos that make Fayetteville Funky.

Ghost of Monte Ne

June 19, 2008 15:21 by joey

So my buddy Bob here at the office entered a photography contest on the JPG Magazine site (http://jpgmag.com/). It's a picture from a while back when we found this old abandoned Resort and tagged the walls. Here is a link to his submission http://jpgmag.com/photos/773124

This place is off of highway 540 and exit 83 headed towards Beaver Lake and the Monte Ne area. If your ever out that way check out the place it's really cool. And check back on the site and see if he wins.

June 13, 2008 12:14 by joey

So after I finished clearing 50 voice mails last night of monkeys screaming in the background I decided to get a little even with one of the programmers here at work and created this mock site of him. Please check out http://winadatewithcoryglanton.com   and if any of you ladies are interested upload a video and enter to win a date with him.
