So, I'll see you there! Eureka Springs is very eclectic and artsy town and with this type of venue and music choices I'm sure it's going to be a fun place to be that weekend plus the weather will be perfect that time of the year at an outside event on the lake.

I believe music plays a big part of exploring new avenues of creativity and both opens my mind and challenges it at the same time. One of the UK's best House/Indie/Breakbeats DJ was in town for a Saturday night session at George's Majestic part of the Summer Solstice. This rare US apperance brought my frind DJ Qousey in town from Austin to watch the event and boy was it awesome. Dylan Ryhmes threw down a fantastic set that pumped the crowed up and kept the dance floor packed. They had over 15 DJ's at this event including local artist Ben Scott whom I work with at Rockfish Interactive that kept the crowd pumped till shortly after 2am. With 3 stages there was surely something for everyones taste including House, Breakbeats and Industrial music out on the patio. If you haven't heard of these guys or the parties they are throwing at Georges you need to stay posted as I will update my blog when events happen and you definately need to go. So I've started back up designing fliers for Bucklup Entertainment in Austin, TX. The upcoming show by A Grain of Universe features Hip Hop artist Busdriver with some other DJ's such as DJ Bomber, DJ Aspekt and special guest DJ: The Giant Hornets from Japan. The event is June 14th at Mohawk Austin. Check out the fliers leave me a comment about the designs and see you at the concert.

So I just found out that one of the programmers in the office here is part of the Beatnik Crew who will be spinning at the Earthtones music and art earthday celebration part of the Dickson Street Music Festival.

While we we're attending SXSW we took off to the Bob Schneider concert and we got to meet him. Seems he had been thru Fayetteville a while back to put on a concert and really had nice things to say about it. Also he mentioned the guy that created his website won an award at SXSW last year, I need to go check it out and see what it looks like.
